MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Mild temperatures will continue for today. There will be lots of sunshine in the picture as well. High pressure is going to be drifting off to the east of here.

What’s Coming Up...

In its wake, southwesterly winds will blow in the morning, but a cold front will sweep through by midday. That cold front will shift the winds to northwesterly, and bring some cooler temperatures back into the region. Highs by tomorrow will be back in the 30s.

Looking Ahead...

There’s only one chance of precipitation this week. An area of low pressure will make its way through and bring the opportunity for some snowfall on Thursday. Beyond that temperatures will drop for the end of the week. Through the weekend and next week, temperatures will moderate once again and highs will return to near 40°.
