MPD: Brass knuckles reportedly leaves woman injured from Kwik Trip fight
MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - A woman reportedly sustained injuries from the use of brass knuckles Wednesday afternoon during a fight at Kwik Trip.
At about 4 p.m., officials responded to a report of a fight between two people in the parking lot of Kwik Trip located along the 2600 block of Fish Hatchery Road.
The woman reportedly told officials that she was assaulted by someone she knows using brass knuckles. Police say she was later treated at the hospital for her injuries.
The suspect allegedly left as officials arrived on scene. According to police, the suspect was later found at a business located on Sirloin Strip in Madison.
The 25-year-old suspect was arrested for substantial battery and disorderly conduct while armed. The woman reportedly injured was issued a disorderly conduct citation.
