MPD: Two in custody after deadly crash on Madison’s north side

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Two people are in custody after a deadly crash on Madison’s north side, police report Thursday.

MPD reported previously that the crash happened around 4:20 a.m. near the intersection of Packers Avenue and Tennyson Avenue.

MPD did not state the identity of the person who died or the individuals arrested. The charges the suspects could face were also not released.

Dane County Sheriff’s Office, University of Wisconsin- Madison Police Department, Maple Bluff Police Department, Fitchburg Police Department and Sun Prairie Police Department all assisted in the investigation.

MPD indicated the deadly crash investigation is active.
