Wisconsin Republican Party Chairman reelected for second term
MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - The Republican Party of Wisconsin delivered its chairman a second term Saturday.
Brian Schimming was first elected to the position in Dec. 2022, and voted into a second term this weekend.
The party referenced its success in the 2024 election, where Wisconsin’s electoral votes went to President-elect Donald Trump and Republicans held onto their seats in Congress and the state legislature.
“I am honored to have the opportunity to continue leading the Republican Party of Wisconsin and to elect Republicans across Wisconsin,” Schimming said. “Our success in 2024 is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and passion of every volunteer, donor, and supporter. I am humbled to have earned their confidence and look forward to building off our success in 2025 and beyond.”
WisGOP said they also voted in the rest of their leaders Saturday.
