The arrests come after the Janesville Police Department responded to a call about a person hearing four gunshots in the 300 block of Clark Street, the police department explained.
Another caller reported seeing people involved in a fight at the 200 block of Clark Street, the police department stated.
The police department stated that during the investigation, officers searched and talked to people in the area.
The investigation eventually led to the identification of the individuals, the police department explained.
As a precaution during the investigation, St. John Vianney School, St. Paul’s Lutheran School, and Roosevelt Elementary School were placed on hold.
