MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - The 2026 American Family Insurance Championship is officially in the books, and Darren Clarke has done it again at TPC Wisconsin.

Clarke and playing partner Ben Crane stayed in control down the stretch Sunday, finishing 30-under to win the 2026 American Family Insurance Championship by one stroke.

The duo closed with a 4-under 67, and Clarke earned back-to-back titles, this time with Crane after winning last year with Thomas Bjorn, who underwent spinal surgery in April, and was unable to return to this year’s tournament.

“Brilliant. I was fortunate enough to win it last year as well with Thomas Bjorn and then to come this year and have Ben join me as my partner Thomas has had surgery,” Clarke said. “To have Ben join me and win it again is special. The golf course is brilliant. I love just stepping on the tee here. I feel good about it. And then to have a partner as good as him this week has made it even more special.”

Clarke delivered when it mattered most late, coming through on the final hole to help seal the win.

“He had to get up and down from 55 yards and he did it. He hit an unbelievable wet shot, landed almost in the hole, had about a 7 footer behind the hole and just hit a pure putt, and he didn’t even have to watch it go in,” Crane said. “He just looked over at me. I was just like the biggest bear hug I can come up with. Because I was, in my mind, I’m like, ‘we’re going back to AT&T. We got to keep playing golf in a playoff or we’re celebrating,’ you know. And he said to me early on in the week, you tee off first. If you don’t hit a good shot, I got you. And that was the ultimate, I got you right there on the last hole to win the golf tournament.”

Behind them, Kenny Perry and George McNeill made the biggest move of Sunday, charging up the leaderboard with a 9-under 62 to climb eight spots and finish second.

Two teams shared third at 28-under in Rory Sabbatini/Brian Gay and Cameron Percy/Greg Chalmers.

Madison’s Steve Stricker, playing with Mario Tiziani, finished T-17 at 23-under after a 7-under 64.

Fellow Madison native and two-time winner Jerry Kelly teamed with Justin Leonard and ended the week T-24 at 21-under, shooting 6-under 65 in the final round.
