One person taken to the hospital after knife fight in Madison

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - One person was taken to the hospital after a knife fight in Madison, the Madison Police Department confirmed Wednesday.

MPD were called to Aberg Avenue and Packers Avenue at 1:09 p.m. for reports of a knife fight in the road.

One person was taken to the hospital. Their condition is not known at this time.

As of 1:54 p.m., a spokesperson for the Madison Police Department was not aware if a suspect has been identified.

This remains an active scene and community members may see increased police presence as the investigation continues.
