Elementary student suffers serious injuries after getting hit by car in Watertown

WATERTOWN, Wis. (WMTV) - A St. John’s Lutheran Church Watertown student was hit by a vehicle while riding a bike to school Tuesday morning, according to a Facebook post from the church.

The upper grade elementary student was taken to Children’s Hospital in Wauwatosa with serious injuries, the post said.

St. John’s Lutheran Church Watertown asked for prayers while the medical team determines the extent of the injuries and treatment.

No other information, including details about the driver, were given.
