Beloit man faces 16 child pornography charges

ROCK COUNTY, Wis. (WMTV) - The Rock County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team arrested a man Tuesday on several charges, including 16 counts of possessing child pornography, officials reported.
According to the sheriff’s office, the arrest came after the SWAT Team executed a search warrant at around 6:30 a.m. in the 11000 block of West State Highway 81 in Newark Township.
Officials indicated the search warrant came as a result of an investigation by the sheriff’s office detective bureau.
The 18-year-old Beloit man faces the charges listed below:
- possession of child pornography
- child enticement
- causing a child to view sexual activity
He is set to make his first court appearance in Rock County Jail Court on August 20.
