Madison Police: Woman punched in the face, phone stolen on east side
MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - A woman was punched in the face and had her cell phone stolen Wednesday night on the east side of Madison, Madison Police Department said.
MPD was called around 8:50 p.m. to the 4800 block of East Washington Avenue after reports of a disturbance.
When they arrived, officers met the victim, who said she had been picking up a food order from a local restaurant. When she was picking up the order, a man went up to her, punched her in the face and stole her cell phone before leaving the area.

The victim identified the suspect as someone she knows, and when police approached him, he ran away.
Officers caught up to the suspect, and he was arrested and taken to Dane County Jail. Keshon Roberts faces charges of battery, resisting, disorderly conduct, and theft.
